Google Analytics Tip- Block Your Visits

Block your visits to your own website so you don’t inflate your metrics.

If you’re using Google Analytics:
Log in to your account
At the bottom right, click “filter manager”
At the top right of the box click “add filter”
Give your filter a name
In the middled drop down menu choose “traffic from the IP addresses”
Add the IP address
Highlight your website in the left box
Click “add”
At the bottom click “save changes”

Not sure your IP address? Just Google “what’s my IP address” and you’ll find sites that will tell you. Add the IP addresses of all the places from where you access your site. Ask people that frequent your site to do the same.
